This square is an entirely different offering than starrett machinists tools. It's a decent framing square, which i use as a non-critical large square.

For $10 bucks you can not beat this all day long.
Works great and was lower cost than home depot.
00 and amazon has it for $10 and change with prime delivery.
The people complaining are acting like they just bought a $50 or $70 square and had a bad day.
Packaging/appearance
A quality framing square with no damage and good packaging
Arrived without any damage even though the amazon packaging was could have been a lot better.
I was very amused when it arrived in a great big flat box with nothing else inside of it!
