Pros
The usual starrett exceptional quality and an easy to store container. The storage container is the icing on the cake for me, very easy to see and grab the punch you need and the top fits very snuggly due to the tapered fit.
Starrett makes great tools! The case is an added bonus for keeping the toolbox organized. For most of my gunsmithing needs i have no problems. Works great for my firearm smithing.
Cons
This is the second set of starrett punches that i have had where the 1/16 punch snapped. Perhaps in the past these were the best punches available, however they seem to now be on par with the disposable punches that are made in china. There is the rea... Read More

High quality and will last you a lifetime.
This pin punch set is very well made.
They are machines hardened and tempered properly and every gun smith should have a set of the srlteels and bronze great product
I broke/bent two sets of the cheap kind, and ruined a pistol.
Price
Don’t hesitate to spend the extra $$$ on this set.
They may be a bit pricey, but it is always worth paying a premium for good tools that will not let you down in a pinch.
Yes they are a little pricey, but worth it in the end.
Always less expensive to do it right the first time.
Competitiveness
I have several harbor freight & other cheap brands 25 bucks these are far superior than 25 dollar or less brands.
No comparison to the crappy set i purchased before (and returned).
Other companies should make their products like starrett.
I bought this pin punch set to replace a set that i bought at horror freight.
