Its sanderson with the character development tuned down and the fun factor cranked way up past 11

Great beginning slowed a bit towards the center and basically stalled there towards the end but just like mbots capabilities you get shot into the craziest ending sequence you can be put through

The storyline is everything one would want in a sequel like this it has action adventure intrigue the list goes on

The only down side of it is that it feels like the bridge between the introduction and the final climax of the trilogy

The first 8 chapters and the last 120 pages or so are what made this book close to a 4star read for me
