My first brandon sanderson read and i was very impressed with the overall structure and storyline.
I do like brandon sanderson stories and this pair of books have followed his usual quality of prose, characters and sheer enjoyment.
As a fan of sanderson i can’t quibble over the quality for this target audience (and at 36 i really am not his ta for this series).
M-bot continues to be entertaining, with the dialogue between him and spensa helping cut through some otherwise tense situations.

It was fast paced with diverse characters which you grew to understand.
Got it pretty fast on the day of the release.

The human refund of detritus was already well established in the first book but the alien spacestation starsight was something else

Spensa seemed to spend an awfully long time on starsight without really achieving anything and the majority of the main plot points occurred in the last few chapters
