This is excellent for erasing secure erasing usb thumb drives or memory cards with the help of an adapter that you dont trust meaning those you found or given from a friend or ones you put in a customers computer you dont trust

I stuck my master usb stick into the source slot plugged two empty usb sticks into the two duplicator slots and didnt even need to hit start
