After looking at it and the card slot its supposed it go into i thought it wasnt the right card

The card and the slot were two different sizes but i guess thats how it works

The drivers was ok to install i checked the device manager and it had another device without a driver which windows found very easily

This pci card allowed me to connect the pc to the printer in spite of the fact that hp doesnt list it as being compatible with windows 11

You just have to download and install the pci driver to the lpt1 port and then download and then manually install the correct driver for your printer

One minor complaint was that one of the pins for the second parallel port connection was bent did not affect ability which obviously indicates it was damaged during assembly or packaging

It came with two shorter brackets as promised and a driver installation cd
