Pros

The card is powered by the recent asmedia asm 3242 chipset. Picked this up because my motherboard usb-c did not charge my quest 2 while playing, this card does.

The only thing i don't like is the old style capacitor that could get bent off a lot more easily than the solid small capacitors that you see on the newer cards. I do wish this had a pci slot cover that ran the full height.

Cons

The problem is that devices will only connect via 2. Makes no sense, but that is what happened here. This is a 2.

A great card, works very well, and a no hassle installation.

Restarted the pc, windows automatically installed the driver needed.

It might work even better if i install it in the 2nd 16x slot, but i have a raid controller installed there so couldn't do that.

My cheap usb-a link cable plugged into the front of my pc case somehow gets 2.

Price

5 gbps, but this card with an expensive link cable only got 1.

Still a good card, but it wasn't worth keeping to me otherwise since it was beat out by a $18 cable.
