Pros
The cables are great and would purchase again if the need arises. For under $3 you cannot beat the price, literally. It's built well, not super thin.
This does exactly what it is advertised to do. Works perfectly. Great cables thank you!
Cons
The rs232 cable is defective. They only cross dsr<->dtr. Most of the time, my fingernail breaks the wires.

At 28 cents per foot, this is the cheapest serial cable i found on the world wide web information super highway.
It saved me $30 dollars by not getting a cable specifically for the unit.
I'm sure you can get them for cheaper but we were in a hurry.

I installed it and set up kermit as opposed to set host dte on the openvms system to provide a path to the operators console from outside the data center

This is a fairly old computer and only has local and serial console capability
