Pros
Ft long, sturdy and transparent usb adapter. Allows placement of my printer and scanner in one of the few blank spaces left in home office. Tested with two scanners, one of which is quite fussy, works like a charm.
Good price, fast shipment. Nothing fancy, just results. Longtime user of startech product.
Cons
Absolutely worthless cable and company. Doesn't work. Caveat emptor with this product.

The quality of this cable is outstanding my printer reacted to it as it would with a cable that was packaged with it.
It's more sturdy than the cords that come with the printers (or used to).

Worked like a charm, very good price too, fast delivery.

I have never received a bad cable from startech.

The printer would spool and the file would get about 12 loaded to print then the printer would error
