Pros

This adapter is a solid performer. Video is clear and crisp. For my use it's two thumbs up.

Worked as advertised on my dell laptop. It actually seems to work better than the thunderbolt adapter i have for the other screen. Worked fantastically with the toshiba dynadock u3.

Cons

The image quality is terrible. Startech usually has great stuff, but i would recommend skipping this. The images became distorted and hopping on the screen.
