Pros

Two of the racks are full with 7u or 8u worth of hardware and hold it securely. Plenty sturdy for a temp install. Once bolted to the wall, this thing is solid.

Assembly is straightforward, though you do need your own screwdriver and wrench. Sturdy heavy gague metal and square holes for rack mount equipment. Comes with tons of extra screws and bolts. Comes pre-assembled for you.

If there is a single gripe, it’s that it is heavy. The beefier design makes it heavier, but it is a really solid product and mounts well. Kind of heavy, but strong as all getout.

Fantastic rack. Excellent piece of equipment. Pictures are attached. This is great.

Cons

It’s very flimsy and the only thing holding up all the weight is two credit card thick metal strips. Annoyed, but, whatever. It needs some back support.

I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and well made this rack was given the price.

Packaging/appearance

The steel is heavy duty, nice black powder coat finish, hardware included, even the packaging is done well.

Although i won't get near the 200lb limit, i'm sure it would support it easily.

Competitiveness

I can see this easily holding up the rated 200lbs, much more with the depth is set to the minimum 12".

I've not used any startech racks before, but this one is so nice i'd not hesitate to buy more.

Before i got this delivered i found a 12u enclosed for about 20 bucks more, and i almost kicked myself .

I returned it and ordered a 12u.
