Star-tech is one of those companies where i never doubt on the quality of the cable i'm getting, very consistent and priced competitively. Never had a issue and priced rite. Seems of high quality and so far have had zero issues.
For the price, really hard to beat. This one works without fuss. Works like a charm.
Cons
One end of the connector is at a right angle to the rest of the wire. The right angle is in the incorrect direction so if your hard drive leans against the case cover then you won't even be able to use it.

Price
The price isn't too bad and haven't had any issues with startech cables.
For the price, really hard to beat.
Packaging/appearance
Was needed to add an hdd sata drive to the farther bay in the chasis.
Competitiveness
Purchased for a 2tb hdd drive in a limited space computer.
I would order from startech again, it came in a zip-top bag inside the package.
I wish they sold them in multi-packs for a little price break though.
I needed a sata cable to add a 2nd hd to a dell optiplex 360.

Not sure why it is not listed here but startech does offer a 24” left angle cable

Get the wrong one and youll find yourself contorting the cable and twisting the plug around so you can plug it in and close the case and even then its not a sure thing

Nobody is going to open your xps and say oh how awful your sata cable doesnt go all the way into the corner before it makes that sharp turn
