Cons
The micro hdmi connection breaks off easily after 2 days of normal use. The connector is too big on the micro-hdmi side. The packaging is too small for the micro hdmi connector.
Poor design exposes the male end to damage at the lightest touch. When plugged into my laptop it's not stable (wiggles) and if the cord is hit or if the laptop moves around then the tip gets bent.
Quality control seems non-existent. This is not the cable you want. Spend your money on the better produced insignia cable. Do not buy this product from this merchant.

Product is however under lifetime warranty after talking to startech to diagnose the issue a new exchange cable was received timely

Having the minihdmi connector at the end of a short cable rather than as part of a single unit containing both the dvi and minihdmi connectors means that there is less torque placed on the minihdmi connector inside the video card
