Installation is easy. Out of the box and into my gaming rig. As far as setup, you just pop it right into an available pci express slot and windows recognized it right away. Also works with win server 2008 r2, server 2012, linux kernel 2.
This is as fast as i have seen anything get up to on my home network. That's pretty close, especially if you don't saturate all the ports at the same time. Confirmed gigabit speeds.
