Pros

Kvm switch for two macs is a success. It has a 4 port usb hub; 2 are open use, the other two are dedicated keyboard and mouse ports. With win7, no pb. I can minimize all of the windows before switching and then it's fine.

The sv231dpddua2 is a 2-port dual displayport 4k 60hz unit. It can run both 2k, g-sync monitors with refresh rates that can overclock to 144hz. The switch also handles high-end graphics (gaming) just fine.

Cons

Don't waste your money on this junk. After a year, this thing is the bane of my existence. This is what you get when you buy * made in china.

It fires up only the first monitor you connect to it and that's all you get. Also seems to randomly drop one of the downstream monitor connections, requiring the displayport cable to be removed and reconnected to reestablish the connection.

Kvm has the worst audio i've ever heard. It produces an obnoxious hum over headphones at times. If i plug my usb headset in, totally screws up everything.

Competitiveness

Using the sv231dpddua2 2-port dual display displayport 4k 60hz unit for this review.

Works well, able to pass 120hz @ 1080p on main display at 60hz @ 1080p on second and sound passthru works great.

I've got a dell/alienware aw3418dw (34 ultrawide 3440x1440 120hz monitor) and an acer xb270hu (27 2560x1440 144hz monitor).

Two older dell ultrasharp monitors at 1080p60 are working without any issue.
