Pros

It works perfectly. Works as advertised! Worked fine, solid build.

Made in taiwan, and has a quality case. Great packaging for future storage. No complaint. Great product. Great value for the money.

This is a cheap way to extend a screen. Displays are much sharper and clearer than before. Crisp clear image and super easy to use.

Bought to split the vga signal from an old computer to a vga crt and capture device. Sent signal through 110 feet of cable to a projector. Power connector is a stander dc power supply * connector.

This is perfect as it plugs in with usb, and works like a charm. Nice, simple switch for splitting video and sending to multiple devices.

Cons

Plugged this unit in and had terrible ghosting. Don't know if defective or what. Wasted my money.

I think the image cleaned up a bit in addition compared to the same cable driven from the laptop without the startech.
