Usb type c plug seems to be too short to properly connect to the port on the laptops. Ended up using a different docking port. X1440 @60hz is roughly 35% of bandwidth allocation.

There is an issue and im not sure if its by design or just an incompatibility issue

If you put your laptop to sleep only one of the two monitors will actually turn off or go into sleep mode

The other monitor will have a blank screen but you can clearly see the backlight of the monitor still on

This is an issue as monitor backlights has a limited operating hours usually 50k 60k hours 5 years

To ensure the monitor actually turns off youll need to turn off shutdown your laptop
