I use it in the little cubby my golf r has for storing a phone and it also contains a usb port to hook up my phone for carplay.
The first stopped working after about a year.
After hundreds of plugging/unplugging cycles, the phone would no longer connect.

Hopefully it lasts a bit longer and i am more careful at ensuring i am grasping the connector instead of the wire to unplug it
