Pros
This makes my home ethernet wiring much more organized and maintainable. It is a 2u rack, it holds my multi port ethernet interface very well. Used this for patch panels and a vertical mount for switches for a short wiring closet.
The hinged side is a great feature for ease of installation and for if/when d connectors and solder points need replaced or repaired.
Cons
What's up with an allen head bolt? The hinge is welded on and does not have enough clearance to open fully. The mounting screw holes are not spaced 16 inches on center, as advertised here and on the startech website. This fails on the screw department... Read More

Since we bought our house in 2008 ive never really believed that my home needed a full rack 1934 pile of anything stuffed into my utility room so ive always bought halfrack patch panels easily obtainable here on amazon but mounting options are not
