Pros & Cons
Pros
Comes with 3 sets of screws/retainers for mounting your hardware into unit. They are extremely modular and come in different sizes depending on your needs. Comes with all things needed (bolts and nuts for the equipment) it only comes with three sets o... Read More
The steel is solid, and well powder coated. Overall, satisfied with my purchase. Looking at purchasing another one here soon.
The only negative is that i wouldn't trust the drywall anchors that the provided with the rack. Mounting holes are 16 on center making it easy to mount to the wall studs. There is a cross bar in the top of the shelf so the top 1u is best used for a pa... Read More
Cons
The included hardware is just 12 screws and 12 cage nuts. Should be at least 24 screws+nuts. The screws for this unit are slightly out of spec which made the client install exceptionally painful as i had a piece of equipment that was only held on with... Read More

Packaging/appearance
Packaging was great with the unit securely inside a heavy card box.
This was my first time mounting a wall rack of any kind and i found the startech to be very straightforward to install.
Competitiveness
To house my new 8 bay qnap nas.
I’ve loaded it down wel past the manufacturer specs and it’s holds like a champ.
I find startech's decision to only include 3u worth of mounting hardware with a 6u rack a little disappointing especially consi... Read More
Looking at the mounts the plastic anchors actually broke (never seen that before), and there was less than 10lbs on the rack ( ... Read More
