The unit works as it should, no complains here thus far. The item looks quality and absolutely works. It works exactly as described and seems durable.
I run a coaching business through skype so i demand high quality sound and this product delivers! The quality is very good, robust. No sound leaks or anything crazy like that.
The piece is functional and solid. Looks sturdy and well built. Seems well made. Nice, solid construction.
Cons
Tried it with two different phones and didn't work with either one. One of them needs to have male pin jiggled around to make the connection and the sound to come from both channels. Pretty hard to fly a plane and hold the plug in place. Do not waste ... Read More

Very good product, works well with my use.
It did the job with the speaker wires.
If you have three, you may need to fiddle with the connection to get it to work well.
Good quality but couldn't use it so i don't know how well it works.
Competitiveness
I use it at work to route my headphone cable around the back of my desk along with a startech cable and both have been fantastic.
This works well in my fz200 panasonic lumix camera to transition to a regular mini jack for audio lavalier, etc.
If you need the mic to go through, look for a four conductor or trrs coupler instead.

I tried two other couplers before this one and the problem i kept having was that they were loose and any cables i plugged into them would wiggle and lose connection

Dont look at any other couplers even if this is slightly more expensive they are all crap
