Pros

This is one of the few hubs i have seen which truly delivers 3. Even though this looks bulky in the pic, it is not very big and easily fits in the bag. I wish it was also suppled with a usb-c to usb-a cable which i had to acquire separately.

Works great. It stays out of the way and works great when i flip it on. Wake from sleep also works as expected.

Cons

The unit emits a constant high pitch whine / hum. It is thus not suitable for use in a room where you're planning to record sound.

It is a little expensive but it's startech and i can't remember a time when one of their products failed me.

I finally found this powered hub after trying 1 other on amazon and the other one could not handle more than 1 drives at the same time.
