Pros
Star-tech is very consistent and priced competitively. I wish the industry would get together and all do it the same way because sometimes that little discrepancy matters in an application.
The multiple lengths work great in compact htpc cases. The cable is compliant and easy to route. They really work well and can be routed easily as they are very flexible.
The round cable design allows for more flexibility in routing. Looks much nicer than the standard flat cable. The rounded cable makes it easy to cable manage too!
Cons
The picture of the product is deceiving. Only 10 cable length, 12 tip to tip. The products are all only right angle on one end with the other end having no angle. Entirely not amused.

Despite the fact that my 8950 came with two hdd bays it obnoxiously didnt come with either a caddy or a sata cable for the second bay so i was obliged to purchase both

Extraobnoxiously for the cable the positioning of the bay means that not only is the end of the drive jammed right up against the side of the case so the connector needs a 90degree bend to direct the cable down into the case but the drive is also positioned upsidedown

Meaning that most sata cables with 90degree connector which typically have a 34rightangle34 bend would go the wrong direction

Fortunately i was able to find this 34leftangle34 one and the 1834 length was just long enough to comfortably reach from the hdd to an open sata socket on the motherboard
