Pros & Cons
Pros
Hub is well finished with fixing screws in a nylon bag. Works great. Phenomenal buy. The lites are bright and i painted with red nail polish.
Usb 2. Hub is great for testing new electronic devices. Allows me to connect a laptop which allows me to use the extra keyboard and mouse from the laptop as well. It guarantees that everything gets enough power from my 12v battery.
Product is self-powered and 24vdc options. Works fine with or without the external power. The ability to run 12v is a real boon for my observatory. It is plugged into an active 15 foot usb extension cable going over to my pc.
Cons
The pins of the usb plugs bent when a plug was inserted. Even when the pins did not bend, the connection is loose. No workaround from tech support. For my application (telescope control), this is unacceptable.
