I did try to use a regular sata power cable from my modular psu but the drive would not spin up

I saw another user needed to use a molex to sata power adapter in order to fix this issue so i had one ready to go when i ended up with the same issue

My plan is to have a rather large hdd array for my plex server so im going to order a couple more of these cables and then a matching number of molex to sata power adapters and i should be set
