This item helps them not see me cry upstairs while i am * at video games. It eliminates the clumsy dongle converter that often pulls down on video card.
Cons
The cord is defective. Decided to go a different direction and forego the cable all together. It's not a dvi-d cable, in case you're reading this review after having searched for d vi-d and landing here.

It fits and works perfectly and the price was a third of what the local computer store wanted.
The ten foot cord was almost half the price of the three or six foot cord.

I needed a very specific dvi pinout and this was one of only two i found on all of amazon

Using the vga out from you laptop this cord connects to the svga input of the elmo then you can plug the vga out cord going to your projector into the output of the elmo
