Cons

Item is not bi-directional. Only works usb-c output to displayport input. Did not work for my egpu ( displayport) to lg ultrafine 5k (usb-c) setup.

I think i'd wait for that to come down before buying it at that price :)i wish i got the 6-foot variety.

Today's price is $45 which is a lot more than it was when i ordered it, so maybe they're part of a supply chain problem somewhere.

Research showed that those displayport connectors were the perfect answer for us as displayport handles multiple displays better than hdmi.
