Pros

Plugged this into my dell 27 4k monitor. No problems getting 60hz refresh.

Cons

Pass on them imho. First, the locks are horrible.

One cable causes one of my monitors to cut in and out intermittently. Flexing the area near the computer connector causes intermittent connection.

Both cables produce a jumpy, jittery display. The specifications for this cable say it can run 4k at 60hz, but in my case this is not true. I tried the 4 and 3 meter cable with the lenovo 4k display (60 fps) the cable i got is not displayport 1.

This is the first tb3 to displayport cable i’ve tried that actually works every time it’s plugged in/unplugged from my macbook: dp 1.

Since its a digital signal and not an analog one, doesn't matter on the quality of the cable to get the clearest picture.

Price

It supports all of my needs and it's priced fairly and works good.

Worked with my vive (with audio) and it was cheap.

I just needed an inexpensive cable to run my mac pro to extra monitor.

Every startech cable i have used seems superior to others.

I just set my office room up differently and am using startech cables for as many items as i can.

There are so many weird brands of cords on amazon these days.

Lenovo sells them as an option for their workstations gainend my trust.
