I did not see any mil specs attached to the description so i dont expect military grade standards

I would expect a possible drop in the 12 foot model wire capacitance is not a nice thing with high speed signals

Look at it carefully though it is a usb extender ie a usb plug one end and a usb socket the other end

When i attempted to house it in the bottom of the monitor stand it protruded from the front

This is a handy extension cable for use with a usb device with an attached cable thats just too short
