A loopback test confirms what i'm hearing is exactly what i get. Sound quality is equal to the max capability of your laptop's soundcard. Driver and audio utilities are very dated and intuitive and easy to use.
This is the best solution for anyone who doesn't have a desktop pc with an available pcie lane. Easy to install and works well over usb. Recommended for anyone needing sound over usb.
Cons
Device functioned great for a month and quit. There are no options to test which speakers are plugged in, no gui for windows, no configuration, nothing. It is worthless trash unless you use ubuntu only.

I use this unit to connect my laptop to a good quality speaker setup and it did not disappoint.
But with my little laptop and this sound card, i can record and the quality of the sound is great.
1 system, but we could find nothing for adjusting the channel volumes.
This is on a mini computer th80 minisforum due to my desktop gamer died .

Overall, this inexpensive sound card is the best solution for anyone who doesn't have a desktop pc with an available pcie lane.
The $150 red sb sound card is now a useless card for this computer because windows kills it !

There was a cd of drivers included in the box, but it was of no use as i had to visit the website and download the application install.
I didn't install the drivers that came with it because the box works fine with windows 11.
Competitiveness
So much easier to use than my prior purchases years ago of creative brand cards, which maybe have more features but that i don't need.

The onboard sound amplifier on my dell computer blew and because the motherboard does not have the capability to add any internal boards i was stuck without sound
