This cable is a "full" 20pin (not mini) display port.

It did the job, at a great price point, and continues to work - what more can i say!
The price is good, and i recommend these is a nice way for connecting lap-tops to screens.

I will at sometime in the future order from them againthank youi have compared other like cables from other vendors but they were cheaply made and one could tell that they were poorly madethe startech cable was made heavier and fit the ports like i wanted them to fit not loosely

The quality of the connection was good but the 6” dongle was too short and kept on detaching itself from either the hdmi cable or the docking station and the connection to the monitor would be lost
