Pros

It goes into pairing mode as soon as the previous device disconnects. The only negative comment that i have with the unit is its bt reception, it's about 15' then it starts skipping after that. Connection is a snap.

The sound quality is noticeably better than all of the other receivers i've used. When using the digital out, the unit will bypass the internal wolfson dac and use the internal dac in your avr.

The only negative is that the receiver does not have an led light or oled read out that reports what codec is being used. The range is still adequate for me, fully covering the 15x20' room i use it in when fed from a moto g5 plus phone. I'd read that ... Read More

It's quite close to a subtle nightlight in luminosity. This is a nice small puck that can hide at the back edge of my entertainment center. It's much less noticeable and it still works great.

The product works as advertised! I am by no means a golden-eared expert, but the differences i heard were surprisingly clear.

Cons

Connects easily but pitiful range and continuously drops the signal from very close sources. The bluetooth signal only works to 15 feet out before it drops completely. Volume is wildly inconsistent from device to device.

Audio aspects are fine but the connectivity is rubbish. Optical output does not work at all, and the analog output gives mostly only terrible distortion. I also own a bose sound link which has far superior bluetooth signal.

It is not. A 1st world problem, to be sure, but very annoying and pointless. The range on this is pretty bad. It's almost unusable.

There are also a few flaws in execution for a $53 devices.

That said, at this price i expect wireless capability.
