Very few of my startech cat5e cables have failed and only with darn good reason like me tripping over them and inflicting abuse

Only reason to ding this cable one star is the cable is not bright white

Certainly its brighter than the horrible beige cords from the 90s but this is no where near the color of you iphone cables

If you are putting this in a place where you are not going to touch it more than 1 or 2 times a year it will do everything you might want but i might be concerned for a connection you unplug regularly or exposed to the outside air that might dry it out and cause the tab to break off
