Multi Monitor Support
Customers have mixed opinions on the multi monitor support of this StarTech.com DisplayPort hub. While some are able to successfully connect and run multiple monitors, others have experienced issues with compatibility and reliability. The product allows for simultaneous output to three displays but some users have reported that older monitors may not be compatible.

Quality
Works well , plug and playrunning 3 monitors no problems.
It works really well and meant i did not have to upgrade to displayport monitors when i bought a new pc.
If it doesn't work after connecting all of your monitors, press the scan button on the device.
It does run a little hot but i bought the first one over a year ago and it hasn't failed once so the quality seems up to scratch.
Price
My only gripes are the cost and having to turn it on after each reboot.

I purchased a different brand prior (destroyed by a user).
This brand works on my pc where the other brand quit, or does not work on it anymore.

It gives off a very faint mains hum kind of sound

The noice is hardly noticable but might be annoying if it was on in a bedroom at night

My third monitor stated that it monitor was not input capable in this manner older monitor but the 2nd one fired up just fine as would the third i am expecting if it were not too old
