Very happy with the purchase.
Very happy with this dvi cable for use with my dual-link adapter. Worked perfectly as a replacement for a vga cable of the same length - but without ghosting; a definite upgrade.
Heavy duty and great shielding. The cable itself is thick, which provides a feeling of quality and durability. These cord feels pretty sturdy and thick.

It's a very thick cable with large chokes at each end and appears to be of higher quality that any of my other cables.
Price
I bought this cable for about ten bucks, and have at least two feet of slack.
They had a long cable, but wanted $40 for it.
Shipping
Decently long cable, got it on time (shockingly) with one day delivery, haven't as of yet had any issues with it.
Competitiveness
I have long believed startech makes the best dvi cables available.
One big-box computer store only had similar 6-foot cables, so i went to a national office supply store.
Not as great as hdmi but it's not hdmi.

Noted that the laptop gets hotter driving any external interface hdmi displayport duallink dvi so for fulltime use i have employed a laptop cooler to keep overall noise down
