I had hoped the manual resolution switch would force the device to report only selected resolution

Has a bunch of preset monitor types but really all you need to do is set the mode to 1 connect it to a 5v usb and the dvi to the monitor you want it to emulate press the button until the led flashes green and then wait about 3 seconds until the led turns blue

Now when you connect this to any graphics card it will think it is connected to the monitor you set it to emulate

Changing it on the pc doesn’t change the active resolution of the hdmi output
