Build quality is excellent with a solid metal body, and when it works this is really convenient and easy to get going.

And i'm very pleased with the results.

The picture quality was pretty good i guess the storage has something to do with that.

So i have now included a snapshot from streamcatcher to show the quality of picture you get when streaming.

You do get a pro look with this, so there is that, but it does cost a bit.

Competitiveness

I have been using a blackmagic intensity pro to input hdmi material into my mac pro for years.

I highly recommend startech devices in general and this hdmi to usb c video capture device in particular.

15) because apple has decided to no longer support 32-bit applications.

Pretty lame i know but true :)imo this startech video capture device is pretty nice - but they could lower the price .
