Pros

Simple and concise software to navigate. Easy to set up. Makes the unit extremely portable.

It's pricey, but the final element to this project. Video quality is great. The resultant audio files are clean, and the audio and video are in perfect sync throughout. Only an ever so slight delay from source to the preview screen in obs.

Works as advertised! Tried it out and am pleased to report that the disconnects are completely gone. Works first time outta the box. It's not deal breaking for me, but it is noticeable.

The quality is quite good for our needs, certainly good enough for the low-cost and internal video productions we use that camera for.

The quality is good and i really had no issues with the recording.

While video quality seemed pretty good, audio was so so.

Also has some cons in that it is not as stable with higher end editing programs as it is with the included software for capture.

Usb3hdcap is almost 3 years old and was maybe released before it's time.

I can capture analog over component video/audio or s-video w/component audio.

After a few years, i noticed there was finally a new startech driver for windows 10 on their website.

Not sure where to even get one except from the manufacturer.

A one-hour program will generate roughly a 5gb file.
