The metal around it provides some rigidity and shielding. Overall, i am satisfied with this purchase and hope it lasts through years of use.

Initialize, then says its not ready. Not on mac, windows, nor linux. Did not work with my drive.

I am using these with the micron m600 512gb m.

Overall, i am satisfied with this purchase and hope it lasts through years of use.

I was hoping i wouldn't have a problem with the enclosure being a bottleneck for the m.

I haven't tested it yet as i'm having an issue with the motherboard and had to rma it with msi.

Competitiveness

Good product and i have become a fan of startech products.

2 ssd inside and installed this in my pc, it works like a champ.

2 format in error and it was a non-returnable purchase, so this adapter let me make use of the drive by adapting it to fit into my pc.

This will not accept an nvme ssd because those are have an “m” key.
