Would have 5 stars except for one minor point theres no marking on the plugs and sockets to show which way round they go so you have to look and feel to get them to plug in properly

Works perfectly previously i had a white mini display port gt display port cable and the monitor would flicker then the cable died every time i plugged it in it would hang the machine until unplugged

Was going to opt for hdmi to dvid adaptor to connect my laptop to monitor screen but am happy i chose this option at a similar price

Works perfectly i have an older 30 nec monitor 2560x1600 which is a thing of beauty built like a tank ips screen £1600 new and didnt want to have to chop it in cause dvid connectors are old tech

Thus i have a usb powered dvid to full size displayport adapter which in turn connects to this full size displayport to mini displayport adapteri was wondering if an active adapter connected to a passive adapter would work with my laptop but it does
