Having tried the amazon 34recommended buy34 for this kind of adaptor and finding that it failed after 30 seconds of use i returned that one and opted for this one which was almost twice the price

I havent managed to get the res higher than 2560x1440 60hz but am confident that im fighting against the mac chipsets capabilities rather than the limitations of the adaptor

This feels cheap but it works well and the price is fair so how it feels isnt really important
