For the past half-dozen years, i have of course always had a micro-usb cable constantly with me in my laptop bag, for my phone.
Still not sure this was a great idea vs getting a whole new usb to microusb cable for almost the same price, but hey .

Both ends have a solid fit so the cable wont wiggle loose and the adapter wont fall out of the device even if i pick it up to use it while charging

Because it’s rigid and not a 90d adapter i have to keep the camera further from my rear view mirror because of its length
