Main part of the case is a robust aluminium extrusion.
Cons
Metal contact plate inside the usb socket either becomes intermittent or just dead.

Good quality and works well without interruption.
An excellent way to create an external hard drive with usb3 connectivity
The plastic hdd tray fixes via just two screws and slides out easily when they are removed.
The indicator led only lights once the drive has spun up to speed and been recognised by the host, it goes out when released by the host.
Price
Not the cheapest sata enclosures but value for money.
The downside is the higher cost and the fact that most devices you're going to want to connect it to only support usb 3.
Shipping
Package arrived promptly and much quicker than anticipated, was well wrapped and protected.

Probably the most important thing to note is that whilst they all appear at first sight to be identical there are two sizes of screw and the smaller one is to hold the cage in the housing

Its impossible for a sata drive to reach speeds faster than 250mbs or if you prefer 1250mbs
