Quality is acceptable and it allowed me to use a spare m2 hdd to speed up an elderly laptop.
Hopefully i've learnt my lesson but for the price of this product.

I had to move the drive installation bracket which is the metal screw at the end of the m2.

It works great with my crucial mx300 m.
2 ngff 128gb toshiba ssd which was exposed inside a water damaged laptop, saving my bachelors dissertation and other coursework.
I see some of the reviews here are for other startech products which is misleading.

The samsung ngff board is quite thick and its not easy to use the pillar screw provided to secure the ssd board

My device is an m2280 so the bracket had to be moved to the very end

Just screw the post into the adapter where you need it first then screw down the m
