Manually point the generic windows display device in device manager from windows 10 in bootcamp to the nvidia driver folder manually it picks right up and works great. My macbook pro has 4 usb-c ports so i can connect this on either side. If you have ... Read More

It works so well that i bought it, used it blissfully since day 1, and would buy it again without hesitation. Superb for the price. Little pricey though. Sturdy and solid design.

It blinks about once a week but doesn't give me much trouble. No lag, just smooth external monitors. If you want more in-depth reviews check out my youtube channel ondawire.

Cons

Frustrating failure. I have two laptops, dell (work) and msi (personal), unfortunately it only works for my dell.

This product isn't compatible with the 15 2018 hp spectre x360 with the 8th generation intel core processors.

If you have the new macbook with the m1 chip, this will not work for that particular device at this current time.

Competitiveness

I own a great deal of startech products.

No issues; connections solid and a well-made product.

So i’m keeping this one on a hackintosh.

The startech thunderbolt 3 adapter is a welcome exception.
