Does what it says on the tin. Worked first time without any hiccups. Has proceeded to function as required at all times over the last few months.

The main thing is to download the driver from the startech web site, and then you're off.

Im using old monitors one is a 12 year old samsung syncmaster the other an old dell neither have hdmi ports so both are connected via dvi to hdmi leads

Ok so the supported resolutions are listed in the description but it doesnt make it clear that monitors in between such as qhd will drop back down to hd 1080p resolution
