Got 2. The startech. And walla. us1gc308. No dice. I have two more pieces on my wishlist list.

Cons

Works great, until it starts working only intermittently after several months. If any step is out of order it refuses to come up.

It will not install out-of-the-box on windows 10. The instructions for installation are written for an it professional, not a normal human. It's bad form to require weird third-party drivers for something that should be a generic commodity.

Product never performed to expectations. Not very happy with the shelf life of the item. Thanks so much for ripping me off.

The usb-c connector has a positive tight fit into the port on the computer so does not wiggle or become disconnected accidentally.

Not expensive and worked great and kept me up and running till i was able to replace the wireless chip.
