It plays fine at 1920x1080, even with streaming web videos. It helps make downloading of updates faster. Helps with gaming at being a higher speed than wireless.

Cons

It interferes with my bluetooth and wifi devices. There is a occasionally a distortion of the image on the monitor this is connected to and it freezes as well. No sign of any updates forthcoming.
