Pros
This is a must have if you have one of those laptops. It helps make downloading of updates faster. Running 2 portable monitors with the laptop and everything just works great!
Two-monitor setup at home for my laptop which has only one hdmi output. It goes in line with the cable and is hardly noticeable in my setup. Doesn't seem to disrupt the hmdi port that's used for the other external monitor.
Downloaded and installed the driver before plugging it in. Windows 11 recognise it inmediately and works really well. Sometimes requires a reboot to recognize another monitor on the win10 lt.
The product is sleek and stylish. It is aesthetically pleasing and has excellent functionality.
Cons
If it works, seems like a great device. It is not the hdmi cable, if i plug that into the video card, it works just fine.
The streaming quality is atrocious. It stutters almost constantly, sometimes slowing down or speeding up. The picture comes out oddly stretched and squished.

These are so consistent, i strongly recommend these to anyone that’s looking to add more screens than a machine natively supports.
They were very clunky, terrible, would require users to re-plug them often, and drivers needed to be manually installed.
Overheated & stopped working after 3 months.
Price
0 adapter was cheaper than a new computer.
I‘ve been buying adapters that range from $10-$15 and they were all awful.
The price is on the high side for a measly adapter, but you get what you pay for.

Competitiveness
This product is so much better than the other ones i have used in the past.
This adapter was three times more expensive than other adapters in the same category.
Although this item was higher in price than competitors items that claim the same thing, this one had the highest ratings.
It had very high ratings, and so that's why i chose it over the cheaper counterparts with lesser ratings.

I have to reach over and toggle the power off and back on again then its fine

Also watching a film seems clear but scrolling on a webpage the screen gets a little wobbly until the scrolling stops
