Quality
The quality is pretty good as the base has a bit of weight to it.
Very high quality build, easy to hook up, comes with everything needed.
The instructions indicate that it can only clone : 1) drives with the same size; or 2.
Using less efficient or older ssds dramatically increases the time to clone, however, with the longest taking ~25 minutes.
Shipping
Not as fast as i thought but still gets the job done.
Packaging/appearance
Pulled the new ssd out of the startech, placed it in a mounting bracket and installed it in the dell.
Competitiveness
I use this in conjunction with a seagate 4tb barracuda sata 6gb/s 64mb cache 3.
This is my 4th startech item i have purchased over the last 8 years.
Their post sales tech support for other than mechanical or software issues is why i have so many startech products.
My inexpensive, inland pro, 256gb drives were copied repeatedly in 14:30.

I purchased a crucial ssd hard drive which comes with data transfer software but its not the most user friendly as it doesnt give much by way of instructions so its difficult to track the progress of the data transfer until you figure out that it probable shouldnt be taking as long as it is for the process to complete
